Welcome... Based in Edinburgh, UK, I'm a microelectronics, instrumentation and digital architect for electrical and electronic systems. Having moved from the academic sector and a short period working on SONAR, I am now involved in the RADAR instrumentation field.
I have expertise across digital microelectronics having completed a PhD in the development of CMOS application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) and complex designs targetting field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs). My specialism combines both Verilog and VHDL bit-level development and high-speed readout circuits for single-photon avalanche diode (SPAD) arrays.
To complement this, I have experience in mixed-signal PCB development, embedded software, communications and system-modelling.
